| French week | In the run up to the signing of the Twinning charter in Soham, the town held a French Week and shops were decorated. | |
| Pumpkin Fair 2006 | An official party from Andrézieux-Bouthéon came to visit Soham for the 32nd Annual Pumpkin Fair. | |
| Eurofoulée 2007 | In May 2007, a team from Ely Runners flew to Andrézieux-Bouthéon to take part in the Eurofoulée fun run. (Any assistance with captions for these photographs would be gratefully received). | |
| An English Pub in France | On the 30th June 2007, Soham were invited to create an English pub at the Fête des bords de Loire in Andrezieux-Boutheon. | |
| Remembrance Day 2008 | The British Legion invited French veterans to take part in the annual ceremonies in Soham. Here are some pictures of the event and the hosts and visitors. | |
| New Town Signs | Soham Twinning Association raised the funds to purchase six signs to accompany the 'Welcome to the market town of Soham' signs so that everybody visiting the town knows that we are twinned. Here are some pictures from the unveiling ceremony. | |
| Fete des Bords de Loire 2009 | A group from Soham went to Andrézieux-Bouthéon and visited the annual Fete des Bords de Loire (Fair of the banks of the Loire). We were entertained by the Camarguais cowboys from the South of France who demonstrated their form of bull fighting, where the bull has much better odds and doesn't die at the end, and by a Gypsy Flamenco band amongst other events. | |
| Pumpkin Carving at La Fete de la Courge 2009 | Some representatives of the Soham Pumpkin Fair went to La Fete de la Courge in Andrézieux-Bouthéon, armed with a variety of household implements and tools and demonstrated what we do with pumpkins at Halloween. | |
| Soham Village College Exchange Students at Soham Pumpkin Fair 2010 | Soham Village College arranged an exchange visit in September. Some students from Andrézieux-Bouthéon came over and stayed with the families of SVC students. Here are some pictures of them at the Pumpkin Fair that weekend. | |
| L'Orchestre Monty perform a tango concert in Soham | Jean Montschien (conductor of the Andrézieux-Bouthéon choir) is also leader of a tango band. Here are some photographs of what went on when the band was invited to play in Soham. | |
| French Visit, May 2010 | Between May 13 and 17th 2010, there was a visit by 30 people from Andrézieux-Bouthéon. They were all hosted by local residents,and went on trips to Cambridge, Ely, Anglesey Abbey and Wicken Fen, and had a typical English Sunday dinner at the Fountain before they went home. | |
| Fete de la Courge 2010 | A Party of eight (including a journalist from the Newmarket Journal) visited Andrézieux-Bouthéon for the annual pumpkin fair. All were accomodated by local people, and the party and their hosts were given a tour of the Beaujolais district. Next morning some of the party went to local markets before all meeting up at the fair in the afternoon. | |
| Car Treasure Hunt | On 22nd May 2011, seven cars followed a trail of clues created by John and Rosemary Aitchison which led from Soham down to Newmarket and back. Here are some pictures from the awards ceremony in The Ship afterwards. | |
| Soham Pumpkin Fair 2011 - We celebrate five years of twinning | On 24th September 2011, a small party from Andrézieux-Bouthéon comprised of the Mayor, Jean-Claude Schalk, his deputy Gerard Brot and their wives, came to the Pumpkin Fair to celebrate five years of twinning with Soham. | |
| Fete de la Courge 2011 | A small party went to the Annual pumpkin fair in Andrézieux-Bouthéon. Despite the worst weather that anybody could remember, everybody had a good time, and your webmaster was treated to some great restaurants and museums - even descending a mine in St. Etienne! |
